No More Fake Gurus

READ BLOG OR WATCH VIDEO

We must stop repeating the hopeless and ignorant mantra of "NO MORE GURUS" like it's some badge of independence or enlightenment. That phrase isn't wisdom—it's often just the bitter cry of people who got burned by charlatans, lost faith too quickly, and now project their disappointment onto the entire concept of spiritual guidance. You're not rejecting gurus because you're "beyond" them; you're rejecting them because you failed to spot the real ones, got fooled by the pretenders, and decided it was easier to give up entirely than to keep seeking and putting in effort.

We desperately need leaders—those rare souls who have walked the fire, gone to the mountains, battled their demons, and emerged with hard-won truth. These are not the Instagram influencers selling quick-fix manifestation courses or the comfort-zone "therapists" who pat you on the back and tell you everything is going to be okay. At the same time, you wallow in victimhood and only do what they do for money, likes and follows.

Real gurus don't coddle your shadows; they dispel darkness and bring fire to your eyes that you have never had.

In a world of almost no one breaking free from fear, insecurity, and self-sabotage, why would you ever think that we do not need help?

This world programs your mind to be masterful at self-deception—looping the same old patterns. We need people who can be honest about the pretending and lies—people who can hand you the tools, practices, and sacred teachings that accelerate awakening.

A true guru doesn't make you dependent forever; they make you honest about needing a helping hand and they guide you to the point where you no longer need their hand. They light the path so brightly that you can no longer pretend to not see it.

The voices shouting "NO MORE GURUS" are the ones who sought gurus to comfort their darkness and pretend to wonder why they failed them. Those who have found truth and those who have battled their demons would never foolishly dismiss the value of guidance. They would want others to find it as soon as possible and they would understand that one day we will all have it and none of us will suffer.

They understand that sacred teachings in a true guru's hands that are not tainted by fear will lead you away from darkness much more quickly than most self-help books and podcasts.

And let's be honest about why so many settle for fake gurus: they decide the comfort benefits them. Fake gurus feed your darkness—they justify your anger, blame your trauma on experiences, and everyone but you—as they hand you excuses on a silver platter, and let you stay "broken" while deciding to feel validated.

A true guru? They demand you own every bit of energy you bring into the world—your creations, your projections, your choices. No more blaming parents, exes, society or "trauma." They call you to radical accountability, and they never allow you to be scared of or hide from truth.

You run from the ones who tell you the truth: that you're not a helpless victim, you're not broken and incapable, you don't need pills—your suffering is self-inflicted, and that real freedom comes from taking full ownership. Instead, you flock to those who whisper sweet nothings of "self-love" without transformation, or to endless "healing" that keeps you in your pocket of comfort and never changes.

How dare we utter "no more gurus" when we've failed to find one to honor? When we've chosen comfort over courage time and again? If you've been let down by pretenders, sharpen your discernment. Look for the ones who are sacrificing likes, follows, and money to tell you the truth, no matter how much you decide it stings or how many feelings of yours you decide it hurts.

We need more true gurus—not fewer. The world is drowning in confusion, fear, and distraction. Stop pretending you've outgrown the need for help just because you chose gurus who kept you in the darkness. Stop pretending there aren't gurus who can take you to the light. Stop being scared of taking a hand that will bring all of your demons to the surface to do battle. We do not have to go to battle alone and with the right person by your side, you will only increase your chances of victory. Giving up on finding a guru is giving up on becoming a guru—and it is giving up on everything.
